Jeser Suarez. Existed since 1993, taught myself how to play guitar in 2007, bass in 2008, graduated high school in 2011, left college to pursue music in 2013 and taught myself the piano since then. Let the creating begin and never end until death does me good.
Got some recording done today with my lead guitarist.
This Millennial Mindset album has been an ordeal to record. Even as I tried to complete the album, as stated in my January ultimatum, by the end of May for some June shows, the journey has been rough. OG Producer has been out of the project since March (let’s call it a personal fallout) and gone are the recordings that were associated with those sessions. I’ve been rehearsing the album tracklist exclusively with my lead guitarist, Haydn, since at least February. After spending April trying to find a replacement producer, we decided in the best interest of “progress” that we would record the album ourselves. We finally started recording the album at Haydn’s house early in May with our combined gear. Progress has been slow to say the least, but shit finally seems to be culminating. Recording of Millennial Mindset will continue well into June and possibly the rest of the summer. However long it takes. I’ll see if I can set up a gig for the end of June or the beginning of July to promote our work. Let those who work to earn their worth become it.
P.S. Fixed the bass. Feels good to start adding it into the Millennial Mindest.
I’ve arranged the musical structure of each individual song and they just need polishing of the lyrics and the flare of few session musicians before we can go 100% with recording. Millennial Mindset still projected to be complete by May. I may have a few shows to promote a future release date.
P.S. That photo up there will be the album cover albeit a few changes.
